Mission Statement

History
Kingdom Bible Institute was founded in 2003 as Word of Life School of the Gifts by Dr. Larry V. Brayboy, Sr., Dr. Phillip E. Lucas and Rev. James A. Hudson, born out of their desire to reach local members of the Body of Christ with sound Bible teaching and leadership training. School of the Gifts is merged with Kingdom Institute and became Kingdom Bible Institute. Believing the school needed do more to expand, Dr. Brayboy entered discussion with Bishop Felton Hawkins of Kingdom Institute in Newport News, Va. In 2005 after a year of discussion, the board of directors for Word of Life school of the gifts and Full Gospel Kingdom Church voted to merged Word of Life school of the Gifts with Kingdom Institute to become Kingdom Bible Institute (KBI). The core of the school's conception is the belief that the next great move of God will be achieved through empowered laity in the local church.
